A custom album design of all of the classic Post-Punk band Joy Division's most well-known works.
The design of this anthology album of Joy Division's albums and early EPs portrays the darkness and eeriness of the band's sound visually.
The album cover is inspired by Joy Division's two full LPs: Unknown Pleasures and Closer. It takes the line aspect of the radio pulsar on the album cover of Unknown Pleasures and the cemetery aspect of the Appiani family tomb on the cover of Closer.
For the inside cover and the lyric booklet, I wanted to keep with the graveyard theme, but also incorporate the idea of decay. The inside cover shows a cherub statue in a state of decay, the chips of ceramic floating upwards. The cover of the lyric booklet has a cemetery angel melting away as though the image was made of oil, dissipating away into water. The inside of the lyric booklet contains various images of the band behind the lyrics.
